Angel Rafael Calderon, a Longtime Newburgh Resident, Dies at 77
Angel Rafael Calderon entered into rest on Friday, October 13, 2017. He was 77. Son of the late Jesus and Felicita Calderon (Rodriguez). He was born on January 28, 1940 in Morovis, PR.
A long time resident of the City of Newburgh. He was a retired shipping and receiving clerk with I.B.M. in Poughkeepsie.
Angel is survived by his former wife, Carmen (Lopez) Calderon; daughter, Maritza Calderon-Caballero and her husband, Richard of the Town of Newburgh, three sisters; Ada Calderon of Brooklyn, Esther Rosario of New York, NY and Carmen Hernandez of Buffalo. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Richard Jaden and Taina Ariana Caballero.
Visitation for friends and family will take place on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, from 5 to 7:30 pm at the White, Venuto & Morrill, Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 North Plank Road, Newburgh. Funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 7:30 pm. Pastor Jose Vasquez will officiate. A private cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh.
