
4 Hudson Valley Men Arrested in Prostitution Sting
4 Hudson Valley men were arrested in Orange County following a police prostitution sting. One man allegedly offered crack cocaine in exchange for sex.
On Wednesday, State Police in Middletown conducted an anti-prostitution detail in the Town of Wallkill. Police say 3 men were arrested after they requested a woman perform a sex act in exchange for money. The woman was a female undercover State Trooper.
Richard Neena, 57, of Monroe, 45-year-old Shawn L. Scandell, of Crawford, and Pedro Moran, 46, from Middletown where all charged with 3rd-degree patronizing a prostitute. Neena was additionally charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol.
All three were issued appearance tickets to appear in Town of Wallkill Court on April 13th.
Police say 19-year-old Jaquan K. Alexander, of Middletown offered an undercover State Trooper crack cocaine in exchange for a sexual act. He was charged with 5th-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, 5th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and 3rd-degree patronizing a prostitute.
Alexander was arraigned at Town of Wallkill Court and committed to Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,000.00 bail. He is due back in court on March 30.
