Where to Get Free Donuts Today

If you missed the memo, Today is National Donut Day and that means free donuts for us!

It takes place the first Friday of June every year since back in 1938 when the Salvation Army started National Doughnut Day as a fundraiser to help the needy and to honor the women who served doughnuts to the soldiers during World War I.

If your going to stop for coffee this morning, why not grab a free treat while you're at it.

The only place here in the Hudson Valley that we could find that is celebrating today is Dunkin Donuts. Thank god there are a ton of them all across the valley.

If you go to a Dunkin and purchase a beverage you will get a free donut to enjoy.

If you are lucky enough to have a Krispy Kreme near you, they are also celebrating today. All you need to do is first find a Krispy Kreme and walk in and grab a powdered, glazed or filled doughnut of any variety for free.(except stores in Connecticut).
