Warming Center Opened in Ulster County Due to Power Outages
Due to power outage in the area, an Ulster County town has opened a warming center.
Following a conference call with Central Hudson, a timetable for electric restoration has not been established.
The Town of Saugerties has opened the Frank Greco Multi-purpose Building located at the intersection of Market & Robinson Streets as a warming shelter.
According to Central Hudson, over 61,000 customers are without electric. Ulster Couty has over 23,000 customers without power.
