See Paddy on the River Photos

Everyone was a little bit Irish at Waryas Park in Poughkeepsie on Saturday for the second annual Paddy on the River celebration.

Mother nature more than cooperated for the event, which drew hundreds to the waterfront park with stunning views of the Walkway Over the Hudson and the Mid-Hudson Bridge.

Green beer was flowing plentifully as attendees enjoyed music from Ireland: The Band, The Mighty Ploughboys and The Narrowbacks. The VIP area provided access to a special beer selection and food courtesy of Mahoney's, the Irish pub and restaurant in Poughkeepsie where the party continued after Paddy on the River.

The event also featured a variety of food vendors showcasing their take on Irish cuisine.
