It was a great season but, unfortunately, it ended without a New York-Penn League championship.

Despite getting runners on base, the Hudson Valley Renegades were unable to capitalize on them and ended up falling to the State College Spikes in the second and deciding game of the Best-Of-Three series.

The Hudson Valley Renegades finish their season with an overall 49-29 record between the regular and post-season.

The Gades had a hard time in game one, with errors--the ball getting lost in the sun specifically--helping to cost them the first game in the series, which they lost 3-0.

The second game of the series, however, featured one of the best pitchers in the league, Hudson Valley's Travis Ott, receiving his first loss of the season after giving up a 2-run shot in the second inning. The Gades proceeded to strand runners on first and second in the third, after having left them loaded in the first inning.

The Renegades' season ended with a total record of 49-29.
