New York State Troopers in Dutchess County arrested an Albany man on felony charges following a traffic stop. 

Christopher C. Laundry, 34, of Albany, New York was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance seventh-degree.

Laundry was traveling on Route 22 when he was stopped by State Troopers from the Dover barracks for speeding. An investigation revealed that Laundry was impaired by drugs and in possession of cocaine.

Laundry was charged with Felony DWAI drugs when a criminal history revealed a previous DWI related conviction from 2013.

Laundry was arraigned and released on $1,000 cash bail.
