NY Student Buys Plane Ticket To Visit Closest Chick-fil-A

When the only Chick-fil-A around for hours is at an airport, the only logical thing to do is buy a plane ticket so you can eat there, right?

I've been begging for the Hudson Valley to get a Chick-fil-A for almost a year now. If this story isn't proof that we need one I don't know what is. I hope it motivates some future franchisees.

According to News 10 ABC in Albany, a college student from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy desperately craved Chick-fil-A but didn' want to drive an hour and a half to the nearest open restaurant? Why would you when you've got one right down the road in the next town over? Who cares if it's located inside an international airport?

Vincent Putrino, a student at RPI and the captain of the cross country team wanted to treat his team to Chick-fil-A so the team pooled their money together and bought a cheap plane ticket. Putrino then went through TSA, ordered food and then walked out with a large order like a boss.

This kid is a genius. I think he earned his diploma early.
