New York is a hub of food and drink, so the state's most popular drink should be crazy. Between the craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries across the state, I would argue New York has the best beverage scene.

Thrillist said that the Moscow Mule is the most popular drink in New York State. Overall, the Moscow Mule is the third most popular drink in the country. It's behind a Whiskey Sour and a Long Island Iced Tea, also known as LIIT.

A Moscow Mule is made up of vodka, spicy ginger beer, lime juice, and is garnished with a lime wedge. Typically, it's served in a copper mug. A Kentucky Mule, the other kind of mule drink, is made with whiskey instead of vodka.

I have to say, I think our state's most popular drink is LAME. I get it mules are all the rage right now. But we have so many craft beverage options in the state, and a Moscow Mule is the best we can get?

I think we need a wild mixed drink that has craft beer and apple in it, don't you?
