Nancy A. Niznik, a Wappingers Falls Resident, Dies at 71

Nancy A. Niznik, 71, of Wappingers Falls, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center. She was born in Poughkeepsie August 10, 1945, the daughter of Lee and Alice Marshall Shook. Mrs. Niznik loved animals, and enjoyed gardening, and plants. She is survived by her sons, David John Niznik, Jr, and his companion Linda, of S. Carolina, Paul Joseph Niznik of Wappingers Falls, and Lee Jay Peter Niznik and his wife Jennifer of Wappingers Falls, grandchildren, Stephanie, Kristen, and Lee J. Jr., great granddaughter, Ravenna Marie, siblings, Kathleen Dixon and Norm of Catskill, N.Y., Helen Cook of Poughkeepsie, and Michael Syphers and his companion Jakie of Hyde Park, and several nieces and nephews.
