A worker had to be rescued after he was found unconscious in an underground gasoline tank in the Hudson Valley.

On Wednesday around 1:45 p.m., first responders were sent to the Mobile gas station on Greenwich Avenue in Goshen for a report of a person unconscious under a ground storage tank, according to Orange and Rockland County Fire.

Orange County NY Fire Calls reported the man was unconscious in an underground fuel storage tank and a "major technical rescue" was needed.

Responding emergency crews found the man and noticed he appeared bluish NewsSource report. The unresponsive man was freed from the tank after crews used saws and other equipment.

The unnamed man was rushed to an area hospital. His condition isn't known at this time.
