Kathleen “Kathy” T. Vazquez, a Longtime Newburgh Resident, Dies at 66

Kathleen “Kathy” T.  Vazquez, a long-time area resident of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Monday, May 15, 2017.   She was 66.

The daughter of the late Nicholas Sr. and Catherine (McMillan) Cignarale, Kathleen was born on August 31, 1950 in Bronx, NY. Kathleen was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Newburgh.

Mom, you were the most loving, caring, and selfless woman and we were beyond blessed to call you ours. Not a day went by that we didn't know the love and pride you felt for us. We will miss you everyday and carry you in our hearts forever.

Kathy is survived by her loving children, Robert G. Ewen III and Nicole T. Vazquez; brothers, Michael, Robert G., Nicholas Jr. and Frank Cignarale; sisters, Marie A. Dabroski & her husband, Frank and Gloria Alisandrella & her husband, John; and several; nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Cignarale.

A Private Graveside Service will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, May 18 at St. Francis’ Cemetery, New Windsor.
