June M. Balkwill Calvin, a Wappingers Falls Resident, Dies at 82

June M. Balkwill Calvin, 82, of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at home. She was born October 11, 1935, to Edward G.R. Balkwill and Myrtle E. Keachie in Galt, Ontario, Canada. June attended Hamilton Teachers College in Hamilton, Ontario, and had a sucessful career as an elementery School teacher. On March 28, 1964, June Balkwill married Thomas W. Calvin of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In 1966 they moved to Wappingers Falls, N.Y. He predeceased her on June 15, 2012. June is survived by a daughter, Dawn S. Calvin, of Wappingers Falls, a brother, Lawrence Balkwill, cousins, Gerald Thompson and Coleen Riddell, among other cousins, a god-daughter, Laurel Sergent, all of Ontario and other provinces in Canada.
