He was promoted many times within the company and retired as a Northeast District Area Manager.

John loved all competitive sports. While he was an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan, his heart belonged to his alma mater, the Mountaineers of WVU! He had a lifelong love of horses and enjoyed being a spectator at the track, as well as handicapping the horses. His love of travel brought him to many places both within the U.S. and abroad. John’s pride in his Italian heritage led him to visit Italy three times, with his favorite destination being the Amalfi Coast.

John was raised in the Catholic Church. In his later years he became an involved associate member of Grace United Methodist Church. He enjoyed attending Bible study classes, volunteering as a liturgical reader, and serving on both the Finance and Staff Parish Relations Committees, where his input was valued and respected. His church family provided not only loyal friendships and great times, but also support and comfort when he needed it most.

Most important to John was his family. He treasured time spent with his children and grandchildren and was very proud of their many accomplishments.
