If there's one thing that can bring people from all together into one space, it would be music. The power of music can help heal, reduce anxiety, improve mood and more.

Whenever I attend a show or concert, it isn't until half way through or near the end of the performance that I feel a sense of oneness. We come together to experience a fun show, enjoy the music and possibly connect with other people who have similar music interests.

Almost every time that I attend a concert at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, I find myself chatting with music lovers of all different ages. The groovy grounds of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival still provide guests with a sense of unity.

The Beach Boys have been sharing their upbeat songs about California and their lives since the 1960's.

According to The Beach Boys,

It all began when Brian, Carl and Dennis who were the Wilson brothers got together with their cousin Mike Love alongside their friend Al Jardine, this is when the magic started.

In the 1960's, The Beach Boys then signed with Capitol Records and soon released their first album which was Surfin' Safari.

"The Beach Boys are one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful bands of all time, with over 100 million records sold worldwide. "

It's no surprise that The Beach Beach were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in the late 1980's.

Although the entire group isn't together, The Beach Boys are touring in 2024 and bringing their California surfer vibes to different states this summer.
