Hudson Valley Teen Crashes Into Dunkin’ Donuts
“America Runs on Dunkin'”; cars don’t.
People at or near the Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 211 East in the Town of Wallkill got a major scare when a car crashed through the front of the store.
On Sunday around 3:30 p.m., Town of Wallkill police responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision. Arriving officers found that a white vehicle collided with the storefront of the Dunkin’ Donuts.
The driver, an 18-year-old woman from the Town of Wallkill, told police that she accidentally touched the gas pedal, when she meant to press the brake.
“She was a new driver, got her license a week ago and worked across the street,” Dorothy Zeblin who took the Facebook photo wrote on Facebook.
The good news, the teen driver and everyone inside Dunkin' Donuts were not injured.
Because no one was hurt, we can have some fun with this bizarre accident.
On Facebook, Zeblin summed it up best, “That location needed a drive thru anyway, she did them a favor.”
