The Middletown School District in Orange County has been serving two meals to its students since March 16th because of the district closing due to Coronavirus-19. Since school building will remain closed to its students for at least another couple of weeks, the school district will continue to serve its students, free of charge, to those 18 and under.

Locations for pickup can be found here if you live in the district.  There are a total of five "Middie Runs" usually by a mini bus under the program "Middie Meals On The Move".  The best part is the Friday meal will be enough to cover a student for the weekend.

The program will continue during the length of the school closure.  We salute the staff of MSD including the Food & Nutrition Department for this herculean effort to provide for its students.

Other school districts that offer food for it's students and in some cases delivered directly to the family's home while education centers are closed until April 15th in New York are:

Dutchess County school districts:  Arlington, Beacon, Dover, FDR, Red Hook, PoughkeepsieRhinebeck, and Wappingers

Sullivan County school districts: Eldred, Fallsburg, Liberty, Monticello

Ulster County school districts: Ellenville, Highland, Kingston, MarlboroOnteora, Rondout, Saugerties, Wallkill,

Putnam County school districts: Carmel, Mahopac
