A lower Hudson Valley retailer is attempting to improve their customer service by offering curbside online order pickup for the holidays.

I really hate to be that guy, but it's about to be the winter holidays. Today is Tuesday, October 30 and that means November is literally 2 days away. While I feel like I'm early to the 'talking about Christmas shopping' game, retailers have been getting ready for this basically since last year's shopping season ended.

One lower Hudson Valley retailer is trying to compete with Amazon, just like the rest of the big box stores. Starting December 3 through Christmas Eve, shoppers can pick up their online orders curbside at Nordstrom, according to USA Today. The best/craziest part? You can pick up your order curbside before the store even opens. That's right, employees will bring you your order curbside as early as 8 a.m. when most stores open at 10 a.m.

At select Nordstrom stores (it hasn't been specified which), they will be offering round the clock curbside service from December 16 to December 24. According to USA today, Nordstrom will also offer 'gift scouts' at select stores (again, unspecified) that will help shoppers find items in store.

Nordstrom has a location in White Plains in the Hudson Valley.
