As the Hudson Valley Renegades prepare for Opening Day (June 16th) of the 2019 season, fans will be happy to know that they've made some changes to their food and drink offerings, including reduced costs and even a rewards program.

A recent post to their twitter account highlighted the price changes of food and beverage costs for fans, and a post on MILB.com indicates

The Renegades have lowered prices on fan favorite items throughout the stadium. Some of those items include family friendly combos, hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, pretzels, Dowser Water and other popular Pepsi products and domestic beers. 17 of the 20 items offered in the main concession stands; 1st and 3rd Base, have been lowered by $.25 to $.75 for an overall average price drop of $.44.

The same article talked about how the Renegades did some focus groups and surveys during the off season to meet the needs of the fans.  In addition to offering vegan and vegetarian options at the ballpark, they are adding a new concession, Grains and Greens that will provide healthier alternatives as well.

In addition to those new eats,

Doc's Draft & Sloop Brewing Co's Eats & Crafts (formerly The Bistro), located on the first base side of the concourse, has expanded and will offer daily sweet treats as well as its comfort and theme meal specials. In addition, it will also feature Sloop Juice Bomb and Doc's Draft Hard Apple Cider on tap as well as a rotation of seasonal crafts from Sloop Brewing Company.

The Renegades will also be offering some discounted concession/ticket packages and weekly specials, and all concession stands will be accepting credit and debit cards.  You can get the full list of offerings HERE, but highlights include:

  • "Twosday" food and beverage stand specials.
  • All You Can Eat Experience
  • Thirsty Thursdays
  • Combo and kids meal specials
  • Rewards cards with incentive options

I for one, am excited about a budget friendly family night out at the ballpark, how about you?
