HBO Series Announces Casting Call In The Hudson Valley
An upcoming HBO series starring Mark Ruffalo will film in the Hudson Valley this year and there will be an open casting call in Poughkeepsie to find just the right people.
The Hudson Valley Film Commission reports I Know This Much Is True, starring Ruffalo, will film in the area from March until September and the casting call will take place Saturday, February 23rd at the IBM campus from 11 AM until 4 PM.
Producers are seeking actors and actresses for both speaking and non-speaking roles and both union and non-union talent. You must print out and bring the form below to be considered.
In addition to looking for talent, there will be opportunities behind the scenes as well. A boot camp was announced that will teach local residents the skills needed to work on a movie set. There will also be some road closures in Ulster County that were just approved by the Town of Ulster Board.
Deadline reports I Know This Much Is True was greenlit last fall and is based on novelist Wally Lamb's book which tells the story of identical twin brothers in a tale of 'betrayal, sacrifice, and forgiveness'. The limited run show will feature six episodes and here's your chance to be a part of it.
