Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the 2019 Women's Justice Agenda on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.

According to a press release from Governor Cuomo's office, a new initiative has been announced by Governor Cuomo. The goal of the initiative is to improve reproductive, economic, and social justice, for all women in New York State. This plan for 2019 seeks to build upon Governor Cuomo's 2018 women's agenda.

Some of the key points of the 2019 Women's Justice Agenda include eliminating the statute of limitations for rape claims, improved access to in-vitro fertilization by large group insurance companies, the launching of a family empowerment community college pilot program for single parents, and that all non-disclosure agreements (NDA) include specific language that employees may still file complaints, as stated in the press release.

The initiative also focuses on eliminating harassment in the workplace and to ensure there is equal pay in the workplace. The 2019 Women's Justice Agenda also wants to ensure breastfeeding is respected in the workplace, according to the press release.
