Gloria M. Veach, A Poughkeepsie Resident, Dies at 89

Gloria M. Veach, 89, of Poughkeepsie, passed away at home surrounded by her family on February 24, 2017. She was born on July 30, 1927 in Poughkeepsie, NY, the Daughter of John & Adelaide Mastrovito.
Gloria married Arthur H. "Art" Veach, III on April 12, 1957 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He predeceased her on November 22, 2006. She was a member of Zion Episcopal Church in Wappinger Falls and was a homemaker.
Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Family was absolutely her priority.
Survivors include her son: Arthur(Patricia)Veach, IV of Staatsburg, NY; daughter: Cheryl(John) DelVeechio of Salt Point, NY; brother: John(Gil)Mastrovito of Corea, Maine; sister: Virginia Gunn of Pleasant Valley, NY. There are 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters: Josephine Norton and Helen Campbell.
Visitation is Tuesday, February 28, 2017, 4-7 PM at the Wm. G. Miller & Son FH, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Services will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 10 AM in the Funeral Home.
