Friday will be much more comfortable weather for the Hudson Valley. As the cold front departs the region, it will be much cooler and less humid.  Clouds will stay with us for a few days, and we can’t rule out a chance of showers for Friday and a good chunk of the Labor Day weekend. Temperatures will only get up into the mid 70's.

By the end of the holiday weekend, we’ll have another spell of warm weather.  Sunny, hot and humid and 90s for Monday and Tuesday next week.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Friday:  Mostly cloudy, high near 74.  A slight chance of showers.

Friday night:  Mostly cloudy, low around 65.  A chance of showers before midnight.

Saturday:  Mostly cloudy, high near 78.  A slight chance of showers.

Saturday night:  Mostly cloudy, low around 67.  A chance of showers overnight.

Sunday:  Partly sunny, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.  High near 83.
