Hudson Valley State Park Covered in Trash
Do you think this mess was caused by animals, humans or both?
In a video posted to a Hudson Valley hiking group page in Facebook by Robert Davis, you see garbage scattered around each garbage can at Bear Mountain State Park.
You have certain expectations when you visit a state park, and the last thing you want to see is trash scattered all around the property. You expect to see nice, well-kept grounds, not somebody's leftovers.
Watching the video, my first thought was that it had to animals rummaging through the trash cans. But I could be wrong, there are a lot of ignorant people that are capable of this.
Hudson Valley residents commented their opinions and blamed people, animals and, of course, "citiots" (because apparently they're to blamed for everything around here).
I am surprised that the parks department wasn't out there cleaning it up. It's definitely a shame to see this.
