Francine M. Orsini, a Newburgh Resident, Dies at 65

Francine M. Orsini, 65 of Newburgh, entered into rest Wednesday, June 14, 2017. The daughter of the late Mario and Marion (Santoro) Orsini, she was born May 16, 1952 in Newburgh.

Francine was a graduate of NFA, a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, and retired from IBM after 43 years as a Senior Delivery Project Executive. Francine was loved greatly by her family and friends. She touched many lives with her warm, generous and loving personality, and her absence is deeply felt by those closest to her.

She is survived by her brother, Enrico Orsini of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; nephews, Brandon and Christopher and his wife Stephanie; great-nephew Milo; her aunt, Fanny Orsini; aunt and uncle Frank and Frances Monaco; several cousins, including Linda and Charles Bivona, Anthony Monaco, Barbara Pirillo, and Carla and Mike Meigel, who all helped with her care; and her faithful companion, her dog Sarah.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 19 from 4-7 pm at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, with a service at 6:30 pm.
