Eric Robert Castellano, a Lifelong Area Resident, Dies at 28
BEACON - Eric Robert Castellano, a lifelong local area resident, died suddenly at home on Sunday, July 23, 2017. He was 28.
He was born in Poughkeepsie on February 10, 1989. He attended John Jay High School, and in 2008 graduated from Orchard View Alternative High School. He worked for the M.T.A. for five years.
Eric was an avid fisherman. He loved animals and always cherished his pets. He also had many years of experience as a pigeon flyer.
Survivors include his parents, Grace-Ellen (Favale) and Robert C. Castellano of Hopewell Junction; his sister, Allison Castellano of Hopewell Junction; his grandmother, Christine Favale of Fishkill; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives & friends.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Dominick Favale and Jack & Rita Castellano.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 27 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 28 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
