Elizabeth M. Gfatter, a Wappingers Falls Resident, Dies at 92

Elizabeth M. Gfatter, 92, of Wappingers Falls, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center. She was born in New York City June 28, 1925, the daughter of Maxamillian Dolmeir and Katherine Binder. In 1941, she married the love of her life, Karl L. Gfatter in St. Joseph's Church in New York City. Mrs. Gfatter and her husband resided locally since 1995. She is survived by her husband Karl, of 76 years. They were predeceased by a daughter, Lorelei Gfatter in 2015. There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM St. Peter's Cemetery, Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie.
