Elizabeth Del Bene, a Longtime Area Resident, Dies at 53

STORMVILLE - Elizabeth Del Bene, 53, an area resident since 1997, died on June 19, 2017 at home. She previously lived in Irvington and Carmel.

Born on March 28, 1964 in Tarrytown, she was the daughter of the late James and Rita (Cantalupi) Mondelli. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Victory High School and SUNY Oneonta.

Before becoming a devoted mother of four, Beth was a former branch manager for the Bank of New York where she met the love of her life, Jeffrey.

On June 1, 1991 at the Church of Transfiguration in Tarrytown, Beth married Jeff Del Bene who survives at home. Her children, Robert, Nicole, Jessica and Michael, also survive her. She was also predeceased by her sister, Margaret Figliolino.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 16 N. Broadway, Irvington followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
