Do You Prefer the Beach or a Lake?

I don't think it's a secret to anyone that my favorite time of the year is the summer. I know things are looking very different this year, but I'm trying to make the best of it and stay positive.

With places starting to open up, I'm trying to make sure I get all of my summer favorites in because before you know it, it will be August.

A big debate that I always hear amongst people is which one of these is better; a lake or a beach?

The beach has always been my happy place and as soon as the sun comes up to when it goes down I will spend all day in my beach chair listening to the water and swimming in the waves. My parents used to joke with me that they are convinced I'm part fish.

However, growing up I lived right near a lake and can respect that body of water as well. Especially if you know someone who has a boat, it's super relaxing to cruise down the lake and dock at the sandbar for whatever party is going on there.
