Need some more information about the great distilleries that are going to be at Beer, Boubon, Bacon on Saturday at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck?

Here are a few details:

  • 1911 Spirits from Lafayette, NY.
The 1911 Brand is based at a fifth generation family owned apple orchard, where they use their farms apples to make gin and vodka, along with different types of hard apple ciders.
  • Hudson Valley Distillers, Clermont, NY
This distillery was founded in 2013 by a group of friends who had known each other for over 20 plus years. They have a Vodka, Applejack and Fine Shine all made from local apples, plus a Gin that is made from local grapes.
  • Black Dirt Distillery, Warwick NY
This distillery was founded at the Warwick Valley Winery before finding its own official home and tasting room in 2013. The Black Dirt Bourbon is a must try. They also make a Apple Jack and feature occasional limited releases.
  • Tuthilltown Spirits & Distillery, Gardiner NY
This was first distilleries to open in New York since the repeal of Prohibition. The distillery began producing spirits in 2006 and they just celebrated their first 10 years. In addition to the Hudson Line of whiskeys, they also have locally sourced apple based gin and vodka, along with a locally sourced wheat vodka.
  • It's 5, Artisan Distillery, Cashmere, WA
They used locally sourced Washington state fruits and grains to make their whiskey, moonshines, brandies and grappas.
  • Belmont-Farm Distillery, Culpepper VA
They make multiple types of moonshine, plain and flavors, along with a Kopper Kettle Whiskey.
  • Rogue Spirits, Portland, OR
These guys have been distilling for awhile and probably have some of the most unique flavor combinations. Case in point, their Vodoo Bacon Maple Vodka (I cannot promise that this will be sampled at BBB, but we can hope!). They also have multiple whiskeys, rums, gins and other vodkas.

Which one will you try first?
