The first play of the 2020 Denizen Theatre Season is about to open to much anticipation. Once again, Terri Weagant will amaze audiences with her ability to do a one woman show and make you feel as though you saw a full ensemble cast. Wednesday, January 29th will be opening night for Elizabeth Heffron's Bo-Nita directed by Summer Wallace.

Bo-Nita, a NYC Solo Fest winner will make it's Regional Premiere at the Denizen Theatre at Water Street Market in New Paltz January 29th through March 1st. Shows will run weekly Wednesday thru Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. The Denizen was voted Best New Theatre (Blackbox) and Best Venues for Plays and Concerts (Indoors) by readers of Hudson Valley Magazine.

This is not actress Terri Weagant's first performance at the Denizen. She played to sold out crowds in 2019 with her performance of "Every Brilliant Thing". Terri has also starred in Bo-Nita in other venues. Broadway World said she ".... absolutely illuminates the stage" and Your Observer said " ... a quick-change performance worthy of the late Robin Williams".
