County Throwing Free Classic Rock Concert at Bowdoin Park
Dutchess County is having a party and you're invited.
The Dutchess County Division of Parks along with Dutchess County Government and Dutchess Tourism announced this week that they will be hosting a free concert at Bowdoin Park this summer.
Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls has a natural amphitheater that overlooks the Hudson River. The spot is perfect for concerts, as fans can sit on the large hill looking down on the stage and taking in the beautiful scenery of the Hudson River Valley.
On July 20, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes will take the stage at Bowdoin Park starting at 7pm. The Free concert is open to the public but pre-registration is required. In order to control the crowd, fans will need to have "tickets" that are being offered online for $0. Rock legend Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes will perform all of their hits, including "Havin' a Party," "Walk Away Renee," "I Don’t Want to Go Home," "The Fever," "Talk to Me" and more.
Those attending the show are encouraged to bring along a picnic dinner, lawn chair, and blanket. To reserve your tickets now, just visit the official reservation website.
Listen to the Boris & Robyn Show weekday mornings from 6AM to 10AM on 101.5 WPDH through your WPDH mobile app. Connect with WPDH on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
