Can You Help Bethel Woods Top USA TODAY 10Best?
We may be a little biased, but I think it's totally allowed considering this particular venue happens to be part of the foundation of the Hudson Valley - sounds about right, doesn't it?
Clearly we're referring to the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. In addition to the incredible music on stage at Bethel, there's also the museum which is full of rich art and music history, and of course, the Campground to round out your experience!
There's a a current vote happening with USA TODAY, and I think the Hudson Valley can be instrumental in getting our local venue the recognition it deserves!

USA TODAY 10Best Recognition
Voting is currently open and runs through Monday, May 12th for the USA TODAY 10Best competition, with Reader's Choice, Travel, Food & Drink and Lifestyle categories up for contention, and within each one, there are a number of different votes.
One of said areas is 10Best Amphitheaters, and our beloved Bethel is on that list alongside some heavy hitters like Red Rocks, Hollywood Bowl, the Wharf.
The amphitheater category description indicates that there are more than 1,000 amphitheaters throughout the US, and that those nominated were identified by an 'expert panel' and now it's time for us, the readers/concert and theater goers to vote. The category description goes on to read the following way:
There's something uniquely magical about the communal experience of live entertainment under the open sky. Every year, millions of people are drawn to amphitheaters, captivated by their compelling blend of natural beauty, exceptional acoustics, and immersive atmosphere.
