Bethel Woods Nominated For Best Amphitheater in The U.S.

At the beginning of April 2026, USAToday announced that they were on the search for the 10Best Amphitheaters in the United States.

This isn't the first time they've searched for the best amphitheaters. USAToday does it every year for their 10Best List that covers topic like small towns, candy shops and popular attractions across America.

USAToday sends out their experts to search across the nation to find the best of each category. Then, they'll create a list of 20 and have the public vote on their favorite.

Last year, Bethel Woods dominated the 10Best Amphitheater list coming in at # 1.

Our friends at the original site of Woodstock were ready to dominate again in 2026.

The Best Amphitheater in the United States is Right Here in the Hudson Valley

Voting for the 10Best Amphitheaters wrapped up on May 11th. Since then, the experts  tallied up the votes and released the official list.

Bethel Woods once again tops the 10Best list! USAToday. At the number 1 spot, USAToday cites the pavillions "rich musical hertitage within the Catskills" as one of its main selling points.

Of course they add that "Each seat offers great acoustics and views of the stage, and performances range from jazz to pop, rock, country, soul- you name it."

Bethel Woods beat out amphitheaters like Red Rocks in Colorado and the PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey.
