Alan S. Harfield, a Kingston Resident, Dies at 60

Alan S. Harfield, 60, of Kingston, NY, formerly of Huntington Long Island, NY, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at The Pines at Catskill Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.

He was born July 10, 1957 in Boston, MA to Golda (Bress) Harfield and the late David Harfield. Alan was married to his wife of 31 years, Linda (Senner) Harfield. Also surviving are his son, Andrew, his sisters, Bryna and Susan, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He previously was employed at the Culinary Institute of America and more recently worked for Trailways in Hurley, NY. He enjoyed watching birds come to his feeders, surfing the internet, and grilling.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where family and friends may visit on Tuesday August 29 from 5pm to 7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.StJude.org.
