Abner Alvarez, a Wallkill Resident, Dies at 51
Abner Alvarez of Wallkill, owner of Hi Tech Automotive of Newburgh entered into eternal rest Saturday July 8, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 51.
The son of Carmelo Alvarez and Ruth Rodriquez, he was born January 28, 1966 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
Abner was a devoted member of the Church of God in Newburgh and loved life, his family and racing. He touched the hearts of many people and had a smile that would brighten up a room. His passion for his work as an auto mechanic was endless and he could fix anything. Most of all Abner was a loving and compassionate husband, father, son and friend. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
In addition to his parents, Abner is survived by his wife, Crystal at home, children: Abner Jr., Alex, Abner Jr., Carlos Alvarez, Cassandra and Christina Valentin, Angel, Samuel, Katiana and Abner Alvarez; six brothers and four sisters; twelve grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Thursday, July 13th from 4 to 8 p.m. at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 North Plank Rd. (Rte. 32), Town of Newburgh.
Funeral service will commence 10 a.m. Friday, July 14th at the Church of God of Greater Newburgh, 85 Dickson St., Newburgh. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
