6 Arrested in Orange County Following Prostitution Sting
One of the six individuals arrested had a charge of 3rd-degree patronizing a prostitute reduced to a disorderly conduct violation. Hudson Valley Post's policy is to not print the names of individuals who are cited for a violation. His name, which appeared in the original article, has been removed.
6 were arrested in Orange County following another prostitution sting.
Tuesday, the Orange County Drug Task Force and the Town of Wallkill Police Department conducted a joint prostitution operation in the Town of Wallkill. The sting led to 2 arrests for prostitution, two for promoting prostitution, and two for possessing marijuana.
Richard Gilliam, 20, of South Fallsburg and 36-year-old Tricia Foust, of Middletown were both charged with prostitution, a class B misdemeanor.
Andre Minor, 35, of Montgomery and 22-year-old Middletown man were both arrested for 3rd-degree patronizing a prostitute, a class A misdemeanor.
Two individuals received a violation for unlawful possession of marijuana.
All 6 were issued an appearance ticket returnable to Wallkill Town Court.
Recent prostitution stings in Orange County led to 4 being charged in early July, 4 in June and, 9 in May.
