Multiple teachers in the Hudson Valley made the 2018 list of New York's Master Teachers.

New York State announced a total of 275 new Master Teachers in the state for 2018. According to Syracuse.com, a master teacher teaches multiple classes, including, science, technology, engineering and math courses including advanced placement, and honors. Master teachers have been teaching on average for 15 years.
