I don't think you need to be an expert. I think you can self diagnose yourself with this one. You've got to love science.

This is truly fascinating. I had no idea that this was a thing but it seems like a legitimate disorder. It's even backed by doctors.

You may be suffering from cuteness aggression disorder and you probably don't even know it. Basically, cuteness inspires raw aggression in humans. When we see things like babies, kittens, puppies or anything just so tiny and cute we have the need to smash it and kill it. In some cases people have even bitten their dogs and cats to show affection. Why do adorable critters bring out our primal instincts?

From Go Broad Reach, Students from Yale described symptoms of the disorder with people saying and doing these things:

  1. Loss of concentration on anything going on around you other than the cute animal.
  2. The need to squeeze, hold, hug or bite the animal.
  3. If you squeal, growl, or proclaim to the world, “I'm going to eat you up!"

Do you believe in cuteness aggression? Is a cute little puppy enough to make a 250lb body builder cry and nibble on a dogs ear and talk in a baby voice? I think so.
