You Can Stay in a Real-Life Hudson Valley Tree House
If you're looking for a weekend getaway, why not spend it in this treehouse?
There are some truly unique homes in the Hudson Valley. This week we discovered a home in Wappingers Falls that features an exact replica of the Oval Office. There is also a tiny house in Marlboro made of glass that you can stay in for $175 a night.
If either of those homes isn't your style, perhaps you'd like to stay in a real-life treehouse.
A spectacular home in Ulster County is being offered on Airbnb for rent. The Willow Treehouse is just the right size for a couple looking to get away from it all. Located on 34 acres, the home is only big enough for two guests. The cozy, one-bedroom cabin is perfect for unplugging for the weekend.
The loft is only accessible by ladder. That's where the one bed is located, along with some spectacular views.
The open living room is perfect for curling up with a book by the fire or just staring out at the nearby pond.
And there's no need to leave your treehouse. It comes equipped with a kitchen and everything you need to whip up a hearty meal after a long day of hiking.
Staying at the treehouse home will cost you $350 per night. Not far from Woodstock, the house is in a great location for anyone in the Hudson Valley looking for an easy weekend getaway. The owners do warn, however, that you'll want to pack light. Climbing up to the home and dragging a heavy suitcase up the ladder to your bedroom may take away some of that relaxed vibe you're seeking by staying in a treehouse.
