The popular OSHO Japanese Steakhouse closed in 2017 and the property has been sitting vacant ever since. The question is, what should replace Poughkeepsie's OSHO?

The 10,000 square foot building sits on a 1.97-acre piece of land right along the very busy Route 9 and across from the Poughkeepsie Galleria. According to their tax history, the property was valued at $875,000 in 2017 with an annual tax bill of $38,000.

After doing some research on three local commercial real estate sites, the property is listed as no longer for sale or the listings have expired.

What was once a popular destination for sushi in the Hudson Valley started going downhill in the months before closure as evidenced by reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor. But the past is the past and the question is: what would you build on this prime piece of Poughkeepsie real estate?
