West Point Cadet Tries to Bring Porn Star to Military Banquet

A West Point cadet says his favorite porn star accepted his invitation to attend a military banquet.

The second-year cadet said Diamond Foxxx agreed to be his date at the U.S. Army Academy at West Point's winter banquet if he could pay for her hotel room and a plane ticket.

Foxxx agreed to attend the academy’s Yearling Winter Weekend, a formal celebration of the second-year cadets, the New York Daily News reports.

Over the weekend, the unnamed cadet started a GoFundMe called "Help Me Bring Diamond Foxxx To YWW."

“Diamond Foxxx agreed to go to Y dubs with me if I can pay for her plane ticket and hotel room." “Problem is I’m on the yuk payroll and I have no money. Please help a young boy’s dream come true," the GoFundMe stated.

The GoFundMe has since been taken down. A West Point graduate who donated told Task & Purpose the cadet was "advised" to stop his crowdfunding.

"Some cadets and officers were discomforted by the effort to bring Diamond Foxxx to YWW, so I was advised by those with much higher rank than me to discontinue the campaign and inform the actress that I can no longer bring her," the cadet said in a message to a former officer, given to Task & Purpose.

Before the GoFundMe was taken down 16 people donated nearly $400.

The U.S. Military Academy Public Affairs Office commented on the issue and said "the cadet promptly removed the page from the site after consulting with his peers," according to Task & Purpose.
