Now this might be something good to try.

It seems that the pumpkin spice craze is everywhere this time of year. From coffee's, cereal, donuts, pretty much everything including everyone's favorite bootleg, Moonshine.

Now just so we are clear the recipe that I'm about to share with you is not real moonshine, yes it contains alcohol, but they call it moonshine because it is stored in jars like the real thing.

Anyway, if you're trying to get your pumpkin flavor fix, this might be something you want to try out and according to the website Wide Open Spaces, it's real easy to do because there is no cooking required and after your done making it they say that we will get a taste of pumpkin pie and coffee flavors blended together with a smooth taste of alcohol.

Here is what you'll need to get started....

1 half gallon apple cider
1 29-ounce can of pure pumpkin
Pumpkin pie spice
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups 190-proof Everclear
1 cup coffee liqueur
2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Once you have everything together all you need to do is combine the apple cider, a can of pure pumpkin, 2 cups of brown sugar, vanilla extract, and six to eight tablespoons of apple pie spice in a large pot. Whisk everything together until smooth. Then add any amount you choose of pumpkin pie spice.

Once combined, pour in the 2 cups of 190-proof Everclear and 1 cup of coffee liqueur and put it all together in a moonshine jar and store it in the refrigerator.

Make sure you let it sit for at least five days before drinking and when you go back five days later, they say don't be surprised if the pumpkin and alcohol separate inside the jar, that's normal, just shake it up before opening.
