How cool would it be to be the star of your very own comic book? It sounds pretty cool, especially for teens and tweens. And if being in a comic book is your kid's drea, here's how you can make it come true.

Bringing Your Character to Life: A Comic Book Workshop will be held tomorrow from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm at the Tivoli Free Library at 86 Broadway in Tivoli. The workshop is for kids ages 8 - 17, and will be led by comic creator Barbara Slate who created, wrote and drew for DC Comics and Marvel, wrote over a hundred Betty and Veronica stories, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Pocahontas, and many Barbie comics. Barbara is a teacher, panelist, guest lecturer, and keynote speaker at Comic Cons and universities across the country. No doubt the kids will be learning from the best.

Sign up with the library, but do it quickly because space is limited. For more information about tomorrow's Comic Book Workshop, visit their facebook page.
