Ulster County SPCA Doggie Dash

How would you like to run or walk a race with your best friend? And I'm talking about your best four legged, furry friend. Even better, you'll be helping to raise money for a great cause.

The 2nd Annual Ulster County SPCA Doggie Dash is coming up on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 11AM - 2PM at HITS-on-the-Hudson, Washington Avenue Extension in Saugerties. The UCSPCA Doggie Dash is the only 5k fun run/3k walk where you can bring your dog. The run/walk covers easy to navigate terrain for all levels and your dog. The 5k run starts at 11 and 3k walk starts at 11:30. This event is fun for the whole family, and strollers are even allowed. There will also be vendors, food trucks, music, raffles and dog contests with prizes.

Registration is $25 in advance and $30 the day of the run. The first 100 registrants receive a T-shirt and every finisher receives a medal. Dogs must be vaccinated, well-behaved and on a leash no longer than 6 feet. For more information and to register, visit the event facebook page.
