Two Catskill residents were arrested in Kingston following an investigation into heroin and cocaine sales in Ulster County.

A joint investigation into drug sales from the Kingston and Town of Ulster Police led detectives to an area of Washington Avenue and Sawkill road in the City of Kingston.

Police say as they approached 31-year-old Joshua B. Gohl and Jean E. Figueroa, 51, both of Catskill Gohl fled on foot.

After a brief chase Gohl was apprehended and allegedly found to be in possession of heroin and cocaine. Figueroa was taken into custody without incident.

Gohl was charged with 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 4th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 4th-degree conspiracy, and resisting arrest. Figuerora was charged with 4th-degree conspiracy.
