The City of Poughkeepsie Police Department has announced the passing of a valued member of the department after 12 years of service.

K-9 Farrell was named after Sergeant Shawn M. Farrell II, from Accord, who died in April of 2014 while serving in Afghanistan.

The Town of Poughkeepsie has a new K9 on the job, meet Taya.

K-9 Tok had served with the Orange County Sheriff's Office for 6 years.
