Sur La Table, a cookware store, will be closing all Hudson Valley locations, which are in Westchester County.

Food & Wine announced that Sur La Table has officially filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.  will be closing over 50 locations nationwide. Currently, there are 121 remaining locations in the U.S. Of the 50 stores that will be closing, five are in New York State and three are in the lower Hudson Valley. Only one New York location will remain open, which is in New York City.

According to Food & Wine, all closing stores will have liquidation sales that will last 8 to 12 weeks. Gift Cards will be accepted at closing locations through August 7. Returns will also be accepted on purchases made prior to July 6 until August 7. Sadly, cooking classes will no longer be accepted in closing locations.

The three Hudson Valley locations that will close are all in Westchester County. The Westchester Mall has already closed. The location at the Shops at Nanuet and Ridge Hill are set to close by August or September, according to their website.

Bed Bath & Beyond announced earlier this week they would be closing 200 stores. Last month, Starbucks announced they would be closing 400 locations. It was announced that Over 200 Kay Jewelers, Zales, and Jared locations would be closing. In May 2020, L Brands, the parent company of Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works, announced store closures.250 Victoria's Secret locations will permanently close and 50 Bath and Body Works locations will close.  It was also announced that Pier 1 Imports will be permanently closing all locations. This came after the company had already filed for bankruptcy and planned to close some locations. The COVID-19 shutdown forced the company to close all locations.
