Stewart Wayne Cunningham, a Modena Resident, Dies at 57

Stewart Wayne Cunningham of Modena, entered into rest at his residence on Saturday, November 18, 2017. He was 57. He is survived by his wife Kim Soon (Boenau) Cunningham.

A lifelong area resident, he was born in St. Albans, Queens on November 5, 2017, the son of the late Francis W. and Barbara A. (Hansen) Cunningham.

Stewart was a retired storekeeper for Consolidated Edison in Eastview, NY, a member of the Con-Ed Retiree’s Association and a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church of Modena.

In addition to his wife Kim at home, Stewart is survived by two brothers, Keith A. Cunningham, of Garrison, NY and Dr. Scott L. (Anne) Cunningham of Summerfield, NC; three nephews, Andrew, John and Dr. Daniel Cunningham and his wife Kristen.

A private cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory. Plans for a memorial service to celebrate Stewart’s life will be announced.
