When will it be acceptable to call the Hudson Valley the Hollywood of the Northeast?

Okay, that may be a little dramatic but the Hudson Valley is quickly becoming a location for directors to shoot movies and television shows. We've seen celebrities like Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci and Al Pacino recently filming Martin Scorsese's latest work The Irsishman,in our neck of the woods.

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have been busy filming their psychological thriller "The Quiet Place in locations around Putnam and Beacon.

The film, which directed and written by Krasinski, is slated for released on April 6th 2018. With 2018 creeping in on us, the folks behind the film have decided to release a bone chilling trailer.

Krasinski and Blunt, who are married in real life, play a couple with two children -who from the looks of it- are trying to avoid an unseen force by being completely quiet. The trailer explains "If they can't hear you, they can't hunt you."

Will you be seeing A Quiet Place when it hits theaters this April?
